Hundreds of association members, business owners, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, technology providers, and brand repre- sentatives from the food sector filled the venue’s aisles. Education Before the Exhibition Floor One day before the expo, the NSA offered three seminars to prepare its members and attendees. Actor and entrepreneur Harry Geithner kicked off the agenda with “Act to Win,” a talk on how to sell to Ame- rican consumers and first-, second-, and third-generation Hispanics. Next, Alejandra Geithner presented “A Brand That Connects, A Brand That Sells,” focusing on brand perception and positio- ning. Afterward, Carlos Cotto, director of purchasing at Winn-Dixie, shared his in- sights on which products perform well in the market and what shoppers are really looking for when they arrive at the store. Sales and Networking from Early On The day of the expo began with intense business activity. From the very start, buyers and suppliers were negotiating on the exhibition floor. Around noon, Anthony Peña, president of the NSA, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside the Board of Directors, former presidents of the organization, and executives from Porky Products, led by its president and CEO, Jon Ewig. Jorge Guillén, director of the NSA Show 2026, summed up the spirit of the event in a conversation with Abasto Media: “We’re NSA Show 2026: Opening Doors to the Hispanic Market very pleased with the support we’ve recei- ved from the brands and companies that always stand behind the association. It’s a team effort to provide this opportunity to companies that want to continue growing and to those seeking to enter such a cha- llenging market.” POR LOS PASILLOS 1. Exp. Group team’s. 2.
