82�NOVEMBER / DECEMBER 2025 ABASTO.COM By Violeta Montes de Oca T he 29th edition of the Americas Food & Be- verage Show and Con- ference was a global success, featuring three dynamic days of business and networ- king from September 10th to 12th at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Tis event, organized by the World Trade Cen- ter Miami, serves as a vital platform for small and me- dium-sized enterprises to connect with buyers and navigate the complexities of a globalized market. A key highlight was the expansion of the show, which this year occupied three exhibition halls—a clear sign of the event’s increasing impor- tance within the industry. A TRULY GLOBAL TRADE SHOW During the 29th edition, organizers revealed that the show featured more than 904 exhibiting companies. “We have over 13,000 peo- ple registered so far. We have buyers from over 90 coun- tries,” said Ivan Barrios, Pre- sident and CEO of the World Trade Center Miami, at the start of the second day of the trade show. Tere were 18 country pavilions, including Argen- tina, Brazil, Canada, Colom- bia, India, Italy, the Nether- lands, and Uruguay. Tere was also an Africa pavilion. “Tis year we have new country pavilions: Japan and Korea. Spain has been exhibiting at the show for 14 years. “Te second largest pavi- lion was Turkey, which has been exhibiting with us for almost 20 years, with over, I think, 50 companies here from Turkey this year,” An- cona added.
